Playing with only 13 players on a hot day Washburn wore down as the game went on. South played with high energy and eventually got 2 balls behind goalie Paul Larson midway through the first half. Just 2 minutes into the second half South scored (using an uncalled hand ball) to make it 3-0. While the Washburn defense held tight the rest of the game, the players seemed to worn out to generate a lot of offense. The game ended 3-0 with Washburn having only a few chances to score...
