Chaise Chaude Questions (Hot Seat)

French 2 & 3 Hot Seat questions for oral final.  Students are asked to practice the questions every day until they are called to be tested in "la chaise chaude".

Students will have 30 minutes in class on Friday, May 11 to practice pronunciation and ask Madame Lynch personal translation/pronunciation questions.

*Madame Lynch gave notes in class on Wed, May 9 regarding the requirements for the answers, #sentences and #items for each question.

All questions must be answered in a complete sentence.  You will sit in front of the whole class for approx 5 minutes and answer the questions that Madame Lynch asks you in French and answer in French.  Merci!!

Homework & Classwork:

A. Monday, March 19 in computer lab, rm 201:

1. Go back to Madame Lynch's Home Page, Click on "Cool links".

2. Choose:  Yabla videos, titled, "Ski en Savoie"  (*Savoie is a region in the French Alps).

3. Watch this ski video.  Use all buttons:  Pause, Slow, Fast, Captions in English, Captions in French, etc.

*Write down the title of the video (Ski en Savoie) and 3 things you learned.

4. Choose:  Free videos/demos (Yabla, French) & Watch any 3 more French videos (on Yabla site).

5. Write down the title of each video you watch and any 3 new words/facts you learned.

*Hand in at the end of the hour your mini summaries on 4 French videos from Yabla, french video website.


Fr.III, Voyage Perdu, March 19

Le Voyage Perdu:  Go to Madame Lynch's link "online vocabulary review".  Review all vocabulary from the story so far, Chapters 1 & 2.  Play online review games, study flashcards and list, then take the test and print out your best score and hand in to the sub a test from each chapter.  If the printer does not work, show the sub your score at the end of each chapter test.  Go on to do the same review and test for ch.3, our next chapter, if you have time.
