Community Sites

The WRAP students are active in many areas of the community. Their involvement aids in the development of strong social skills, work skills, self esteem and pride in work in addition to provided needed services for various community resources.

  • Animal Humane Society - Paper is shredded for bedding in the animal pens
  • Division of Indian Work Food Shelf - shelving and bagging food for patrons
  • Seward Co-op - unloading delivered products and shelving food items
  • Kohler Dramm Newspapers - unfolded, laid flat, rolled and bundled for area florists
  • YMCA Downtown Branch - wash, dry and fold towels for front desk check-in
  • Southwest Newspaper - distribute local free newspaper to residents in Minneapolis
  • General Recycling - pick up materials at designated sites in Loring Park area
