About Mrs. Housenga:
I have taught at Washburn High school since Fall 2008. I earned my Biology degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan and my teaching degree and a math minor from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. After four years of teaching in Michigan, I moved to Minnesota and explored the realm of informal science education by working for the Science Museum of Minnesota and the Minnesota Zoo. This year I will be teaching Honors Biology and Forensics.
Students in my classes will need a 100 page composition notebook and scotch tape in addition to regular school supplies like pencils, pens, etc.
The calendar below shows Washburn events as well as information for Biology (green) and Forensics (gray) classes.
