St. Olaf TRiO (Educational Talent Search)

St. Olaf TRiO Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a federally-funded TRiO program offering college preparatory services to over 190 students annually in grades 9-12 at Washburn High School. St. Olaf ETS has been at Washburn since 1991. 

Funded by US Department of Education & St. Olaf College since 1991.

Academic Advisor Youa Moua (moua@stolaf.edu) and Academic Advisor Ian Peppel (peppeli@stolaf.edu) are at Washburn on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, both will be in the College and Career Center (Room 107).             

ETS College Club meets from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of every month.  The club is open to all students with help becoming more familiar with the college admissions process.

 

ETS offers after school tutoring on Tuesdays from 3:00 to 4:45 pm in the Media Center. St. Olaf ETS Academic Advisors and St. Olaf College student tutors, and Washburn Staff members are available to help students with homework, preparing for the MCA tests, preparing for the ACT Assessment, and college application and essay assistance.
