Lifelong Learning Opportunities through Community Education

Washburn Community Education is located in the beautiful Tangletown Neighborhood in south Minneapolis, near the Chain of Lakes. Classes are offered in a  variety of subject areas; arts & crafts, computers, cooking, fitness & health, dance, world languages and more.

The list of Spring 2012 classes will be available March 5. In-person, phone and mail-in registration begins on this day. On-line registration begins March 13. Classes begin the week of April 16.

In person: Washburn High School, Room 005A. Please call ahead, 612-668-3450 to make sure someone is in the office. Visitors should enter through the main school entrance during the school day (8:30am-3:00pm). All other doors are locked at those times. Enter through door #3 on the 49th Street side of the building after 3:00pm.

A.C.T. Test Preparation Course

The next A.C.T. Test Preparation course starts Wednesday, February 22, 2012. This course gives students confidence in taking the A.C.T. exam.
