ACT Prep Courses

On Tuesday, February 27th, Minneapolis Washburn High School will administer the ACT college entrance exam, FREE OF CHARGE, to ALL of its Juniors Beginning soon, Advantage Educational Programs, in cooperation with Minneapolis Washburn Community Ed., will once again present its ACT Preparatory Course to students from Minneapolis Washburn High School.

The Advantage provides valuable instruction for students taking the ACT (American College Test). Each class meets for three hours, once each week for four weeks, with make-up classes available. The course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, reading comprehension improvement, writing essay instruction, and math strategies and review.

Tuition for the 12-hour ACT course is only $140, and students may repeat the course in future offerings during the winter, spring, summer, or fall free of charge. All class materials are included in the tuition fee. Students may choose to attend classes at Minneapolis South High School, or at any of the other locations.
