Hello! My name is Katy Lynch. I am the french teacher at Washburn High School. I live in St. Paul, Minnesota. I have three children. There names are Murphy, Dillon and Mary Kate. Murphy is six years old, Dillon is four years old and Mary Kate was born on March 18, 2008. I am married. My husband’s name is Jarrod. He has a business called Lynch Brothers Custom Fence and Deck. They build fences and decks.
I have three brothers and two sisters. I have seven nieces and four nephews. I have one sister that lives in Edina, Minnesota. Her name is Michele. Michele has two sons, James and Thomas, and one daughter, Erin. I have another sister that lives in Florida. Her name is Lisa. She has a daughter, Lauren, and a son, Austin. My three brothers live in Minnesota. Patrick has three daughters- Lillian, Madeline and Eleanor. Brian has two daughters- Karley and Abby. Ronnie has one son, Ethan and a daughter, Charlotte. They are all married.

During the summer, in June, July and August, I really like to read books at night, watch the beautiful stars, play with my children, go boating, eat lunch on the beach, swim at night, take the boat to church on Sunday, take walks with friends around the lakes in the city (in town) and at the cabin. I love to spend the weekends with my family by the lake in a bathing suit at the cabin.
For the University I went to the College of St.Benedict in St.Joseph, MN. I spent a semester of my third year on an exchange program in the south of France at the International College of Cannes. The school is located on the coast of the Mediteranean sea beach. After my studies at the University I taught English at a French high school in the suburbs of Paris.
I started teaching in Minneapolis Public Schools in 1993. I taught for four years in the elementary school, Four Winds. Then I taught

J'ai trois freres et deux soeurs. J'ai sept nieces et quatre neveux. J'ai une soeur qui habite en Minnesota. Elle s'appelle Michele. Michele a deux fils, James et Thomas, et une fille, Erin. J'adore enseigner le Francais! J'aime bien parler francais. J'adore manger la nourriture francaise, surtout la viande avec la sauce, les croissants et le fromage Brie! J'aime bien aussi voyager. Mes sports preferes sont: le ski alpine, la planche de neige, le ski du font, le ski nautique, le vélo, la voile, et le softball.
Pendant l'ete, en juin, juillet et aout, j'aime bien lire les livres le soir, regarder les belles etoiles, jouer avec mes enfants, faire du bateau, manger le dejeuner a la plage, nager le soir, prendre le bateau a l'eglise le dimanche, faire les promenades avec les amis autour des lacs en ville et à la "cabin" (maison secondaire). J'adore passer les weekend avec ma famille au bord du lac en maillot du bain à la “cabin”.

J’ai commencé enseigner à Minneapolis Public Schools en 1993. J’ai enseigné pour quatre ans dans une école élementaire, Four Winds. Puis j’ai enseigné pour quatre ans à Franklin Middle School. Après j’ai enseigné pour huit ans à Anwatin Middle School. Maintenant c’est ma dix-septième année et j’enseigne le français au Lycée de Washburn. Je voulais toujours enseigner au niveau du lycée. Je suis super hyper mega contente d’être au lycée avec vous!!
