Lifelong Learning Opportunities through Community Education

Washburn Community Education is located in the beautiful Tangletown Neighborhood in south Minneapolis, near the Chain of Lakes. Classes are offered in a  variety of subject areas; arts & crafts, computers, cooking, fitness & health, dance, world languages and more.

Washburn Community Education is Growing!
Washburn Community Education has expanded to offer programming at the new Ramsey Middle School. Our daytime office has relocated to Ramsey, right next door to Washburn on 50th and Nicollet. We are on the south side of the building in room 106, across from the main office.

In person: Our daytime office is in room 106 of Ramsey Middle School. Visitors should enter on the 50th Street side of the building. We are right across from the main office. Registrations can also be left in the main office of Washburn High School. Visitors should enter through the main school entrance during the school day (8:30am-3:00pm). All other doors are locked at those times.

Driver Education

Take your classroom training through Community Education at Washburn. There will be two classes this fall. Sept. 18-29 and Nov. 27-Dec.8. Both sessions are Monday-Friday, 3:30-6:30pm for two weeks. Registration for summer opens Tuesday, August 29.
