Lifelong Learning Opportunities through Community Education

Washburn Community Education is located in the beautiful Tangletown Neighborhood in south Minneapolis, near the Chain of Lakes. Classes are offered in a  variety of subject areas; arts & crafts, computers, cooking, fitness & health, dance, world languages and more.

In person: Our daytime office is in room 013A in the lower level of the school. Visitors should enter through the main school entrance during the school day (8:30am-3:00pm). All other doors are locked at those times.

Driver Education

Take your classroom training through Community Education at Washburn. Both classes this fall are full. WInter session begins January 15 and meets Monday-Friday, 3:30-6:30pm for two weeks. Registration for winter opens Tuesday, January 2 at www.mplscommunityed.com.
