In Geography we study both physical and human geography, with more emphasis on human geography.  As geographers, we are particularly interested in the ways that humans and their environments shape each other.  We will look to historical interactions as a starting point for considering modern-day questions.  Although it will be necessary to memorize some basic geographic terms and facts, we are most concerned with how to find and use data to develop stories, arguments, and policies.
