You may not do this assignment until you have completed 5 different thesis statements (4-20 assignment) and received them back with feedback from Ms. Lyga.

Why?  Three reasons:

You may plan out an essay that does not answer the question.  You may plan out an essay that cannot be proved.  You may plan out an essay that is not an argument, but basic retelling of historical fact.
