Tara Mennitt, Testing and Writing Lab Coordinator

Welcome to Ms. Mennitt's Webpage!

My name is Tara Mennitt.  This is my sixth year of teaching and tenth in education.  I am starting my second year at Washburn High School and my first as Writing Lab/Testing Coordinator.

A little bit about me:

I received my undergraduate degree from Clemson University in history.  After spending two years in AmeriCorps*NCCC, I moved to Vermont to work at a wilderness program for at-risk youth for 3 years.  I attended the University of Vermont to get my teaching license and Master's degree.  After moving to Minnesota, I attended the University of St. Thomas to get my license in Special Education.  I am currently at the University of St. Thomas receiving my doctorate in leadership.

I enjoy learning and think that being a student is one of life's greatest pleasures.
