  • Have taught in a variety of settings: High School, College, Community & Continuing Education for over 35 years.  
  • Previously taught in Twin Cities at Concordia Academy-Roseville for one year. This is my third year at Washburn. GO MILLERS!!
  • I have worked for more than 5 years with St. Kate's Ethics and Decision Making (EDM) Community Circles as a consultant.
  • Attended 1st ever Deaf Interpreter Conference two summers ago as a volunteer.  It felt like old home time seeing so many pals from around the USA. :)
  • I am a voracious reader with eclectic tastes (poetry, politics, sports figures, deaf history & culture, and of course, a good murder mystery!)
  • My favorite activity is to hang out at different cafes around the Twin Cities sign-chatting with folk.
  • Bird watcher and observer of changing seasons at my favorite pond in St. Croix Falls. I admire the St. Croix River and the Mighty Mississippi watershed.
