MEETINGS:  We meet 1x a month EITHER Thursdays at 3:00 in Room 307 OR Fridays at 8:00am in Room 307 (come to one of the meetings)

GROUP INFO: National Honor Society (NHS) is a nation-wide organization for students recognized for their scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Prospective members are invited to apply as juniors and seniors.  To be considered, applicants must have a 3.5 GPA and be able to demonstrate a commitment to Washburn High School, the community at large, academic excellence, and extra-curricular participation. Students who have attained the minimum GPA requirements are invited to apply at the beginning of their Junior year. If admitted, students engage in community service, tutoring, and maintaining high academic standards. Hover over NHS on the left hand navigation for more information about Washburn NHS!
