Washburn is pleased to be hosting a South MPLS Community Forum on Substance Abuse on Monday, March 27th from 7:00-8:30pm in the Auditorium. Come learn about important topics: local stats, vaping, warning signs, drug lingo, personal stories, and parents' role. This event is free and open to the public.
The “United We Stand Community Forum” will be on the topic of Substance Abuse in our community on March 27th from 7:00-8:30pm in the WHS Auditorium. This evening is an event for parents, youth-workers, teachers, and other concerned adults. It’s free and open to the entire South MPLS community. There are also CEU’s offered! The co-sponsors are Washburn Parent Council, Know the Truth, Southside Urban Coalition, MN Adult & Teen Challenge. Great information will be provided about local stats, vaping & other drug trends, warning signs, drug lingo, personal stories, and a focus on the role parents can play in prevention.
