Following are links to the great pictures John McCreary took of last Thursday's games against Rockford High School.  Since the Sophomore team didn’t play, we don’t have pictures of them yet - maybe a parent from that team would like to take some pictures at upcoming games?
Next home match Tuesday September 25th against Patrick Henry (Varsity, JV, Sophomore, and B squad teams). We still need a varsity libero tracker and someone to do JV scorebook. Use the Volunteer Google Doc to sign up, confirm your shift, or make changes.
Go Millers!

Volunteer Corner, from Heather Eisenmenger: Thank you to all of our amazing parent volunteers for making our first home game run smoothly!  For the next home game on Thursday Sept. 6th we still need a Libero Tracker for the Varsity game.  If you are volunteering on the 6th please go to the Google doc and check “confirm” column next to your name so I know you are good to go.  Also, when you arrive for your shift please check in with Heather so she knows you are there and if you will be late for your shift or have to miss for some unforeseen reason please text her at 612-807-6422 so we can get that position covered without disruption to the games.   Thanks, Heather

Schedule Information: Please find up-to-date team schedules here, on the Washburn High School volleyball page (there already are changes since our home game program was printed, especially for the sophomore team, so please refer to the online schedule for accuracy).

***You can get the app called “Activity Scheduler” (information appears on the lower right of the schedule page . You can look at all MPS sports schedules, including volleyball, and there is a way to set alerts if schedules are changed.

Car Wash. Enormous thank you to Kevin Ario and Andi Williams for leading us through another successful carwash, to the players who worked so hard to get those cars clean, and to all the parents who showed up to help! It’s a huge job, but is how we are able to pay our coaches and fund our program.

Online Store: Online store is still up and running!

Note from Katherine Harter, Boosters communication:  If you are receiving Booster emails, great! We have your email address! But we are still missing email information from 5 B-Squad families, at least (and lots of players). If you know of any parents or players who are not getting Booster emails, please let them know we’d also love to get their email addresses to include them on future communication. They can email us at with a subject line “Add me”, preferably with their name and player’s name and team. THANK YOU!
