Hello,

I am Ms. Walsh.  I have been teaching since 1996.  I come to Washburn with a lot of teaching experience. My entire carreer has been decicated to teaching students that struggle in school.  My licensure is in special educaiton with Emotional Behavioral Disorders and Learning Disabities K-12 specific areas..  I also have an elementary  general education license, but have spent my time with special education students.

I have four grown children and a lot of grandchildren.  My hobbies are to read, garden and walk my dog named Lily.

This is my second year at Washburn High School and I love it even more this school year.   I am a special education SERT, Resource

teacher.  That means that I provide educational support to 11th grade students that I have been assigned. 

I am collaborating with Benjamin Rice  and Tara Pederson in Englsih 11 for three class periods..   Most of  students that I provide services to are enrolled into the Englsih 11 course or are enrolled into the English Strategies course that I teach for two perods of the day.
