Fitness for Life Pilot

MPS is piloting a program which will allow students to earn full credit for Fitness For Life 2 in lieu of taking the course during the school day. Washburn has been allotted 10 spaces for this pilot and the counseling office is now accepting applications. Applications can be picked up in the counseling office and completed applications must be returned back to the counseling office by September 4th.  If the counseling office receives more than 10 applications, participants will be selected randomly through a lottery system. Selected participants will be notified on September 5th.

In order to qualify for the pilot, students must:

2.       Have a full course schedule
3.       Have successfully completed Fitness for Life 1.
4.       Be a full member of any sport(s) for two consecutive quarters. These can be high school or out of district sponsored sports
5.       Turn in the application to the counseling by September 4th.
