Bonjour et bienvenue !

My name is Amy Kafkas and I teach French 3 and 4. I have been teaching in the disctrict for 11 years, and am very excited about the 2022-23 school year at Washburn. Go Millers! 

I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota and hold a B.A. in French and a Master's of Education. I have traveled to France and other French speaking countries numerous times and always come away with a greater appreciation and enthousiasm for the language and culture. As a teacher of French, I aim to pass that on to my students every day.
