I am the mom of 4 Minneapolis kids ;) My son Tucker plays Minneapolis Lacrosse and goes to Washburn. I am on the boys booster club and we really want to grow a diverse program. We have less than 20 kids signed up right now and we know there are more kids out there that could give it a try. 

 

Tucker is a senior, his love for lacrosse started in 7th grade and he has committed to playing lacrosse in college at North Central College in Naperville, IL. He had never picked up a lacrosse stick prior but had played several other sports. Kids can learn the techniques and skills - they simply need desire to learn, curiosity to ask questions and the patience to give it a try!

Message from the Boys Lacrosse Coach John Hunter:

 

We wanted to invite all students that don’t have a spring sport to come try lacrosse.  Minneapolis lacrosse is a district sport which means you get to meet and play with kids from all 7 Minneapolis high schools! 

 

You can sign up directly with your high school during spring registration. It’s not too late - practice starts on April 5th. Please email mplshslax@gmail.com or Coach Hunter at john1hunter@gmail.com if you want to learn more. 

 

All kids with passion, eagerness to learn and interest can learn how to play!  We hope to have you join our Minneapolis lacrosse family!
