Ms. Vasich Receives $20,000 Grant for Black Voices Class

Our own Molly Vasich was one of 11 recipients across the country to earn The 2015 LRNG Innovators Challenge award. It's a $20,000 grant awarded to teachers who proposed an innovative idea that partners with educators outside of schools to create educational experiences that expand the possibilities for learning in schools. LRNG says, "Working together with schools, city leaders, businesses and community institutions such as libraries and museums, LRNG is building an ecosystem of learning that combines in-school, out-of-school, employer-based and online learning experiences into a seamless network that is open and inviting to all youth."  See more at
