Welcome to the 2022/2023 school year! I am the School Social Worker for 9th and 10th graders.

This is my third year as a social worker Washburn High School and I’ve coached cheerleading here for 8 years. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University Mankato and went on to receive my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine University.

I have lived in south Minneapolis my entire life and am a MPS graduate. I enjoy sports, gardening and cooking.

At Washburn I support students in grades 9 & 10 with many things including school success, mental health, homelessness and housing and referrals to other supports in the community.
