Juniors and seniors with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher may apply. 

 

GROUP INFO: National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationwide organization for students recognized for their scholarship, leadership, service, and character. To be considered, applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and be able to demonstrate a commitment to Washburn High School and the community at large, academic excellence, extra-curricular participation, and outstanding character. Students who have attained the minimum GPA requirements are invited to apply at the beginning of their junior or senior year. If admitted, students engage in ​school and community service and attend our monthly meetings.
