PSAT tentatively planned for January 26

Washburn is tentatively planning to host the PSAT for 10th and 11 graders on Tuesday, January 26, 2021./ The CollegeBoard has added this additional date for the PSAT test for the 2020-2021 school year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the CollegeBoard, "The January administration will have the same benefits as the October PSAT/NMSQT, including eligibility for programs administered by National Merit Scholarship Corporation." Students may only take the PSAT one time during an academic year.

The PSAT is an optional practice standardized test for students in 10th and 11th grade. Students in 11th grade are eligible for National Merit scholarship opportunities. Students and their families must independently register and pay for this test (some fee waivers will be available for 11th graders receiving educational benefits). Please watch the Washburn website and newsletter for registration information in mid December.
