Suggestions for a successful reunion

Suggestions for a successful reunion

Through experience, reunion committees have learned much that could be helpful to other classes. Here are some of those ideas:

  • have a large reunion committee--for several reasons:
    • various persons will have access to various portions of the class
      • raise attendance
      • reduce complaints that the reunion is just for certain cliques
    • share the work load
    • utilize specific talents of class members
  • from the beginning, make your class member database as detailed as possible--include:
    • current address and telephone as well as those for parents
    • maiden and married names for women
    • e-mail addresses
    • names of friends (in case a member becomes lost in the future)
