¡Hola! My name is Nicky Sunde, and this is my seventh year teaching Spanish at Washburn. I will be teaching Spanish II and IV this year.

I received both my undergraduate degree and teaching licensure in Spanish Language and Culture from St. Catherine University in 2011. I spent an impactful semester of my education in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I took classes at a local fine arts college. I also completed an internship there teaching English to native Spanish speakers. Throughout the years I have spent time studying in Mexico, Guatemala, Uruguay and Chile. I enjoy sharing the knowledge and experiences I've acquired with my students.
