Online Testing Resources

Hennepin County Library Free Online ACT Prep:

Students will need their library cards in order to log-in and register.  Students will be able to practice for ACT, SAT, AP, and PSAT tests using this service.

This free online resource is available for students to practice the ACT.  Students will create a log-in.  After logging in, they have access to tutorials, practice sessions, and vocabulary building activities.

Kahn Academy:

CollegeBoard owns and operates the SAT and PSAT.  They teamed with Kahn Academy to develop this free online resource.

Kaplan Test Prep:

Kaplan is offering free PSAT test prep.  You must register, but the services offered are free.

PowerScore Test Preparation:

PowerScore offers free ACT and SAT practice exams.  These are PDF files that you can print out and work through.

ACT Test Preparation:

Go straight to the source.  Find ACT resources and information on the ACT website.  It provides practice exams, writing test hints, and overview of how the test works.  This site does include a limited number of online practice questions.  There are free and pay-for practice exams and tutorials on this website.

McGraw Hill ACT Test Practice:

McGraw-Hill offers free web-based practice tests.  They include timed and untimed options in math, reading, English, and Science.  There are also mini-quizzes that you can try.

PrepScholar ACT & SAT Test Prep:

This is a you-pay online test preparation site for both the ACT and SAT.  (toggle between the 2 tests dependent on what you need).  Students must register and PAY for an account.
